Pierce Elected to Board of Directors of Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association

Slack & Davis aviation attorney Mark Pierce has been elected to the eight-person Board of Directors of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association (LPBA). Pierce’s position became official at the LPBA’s 2010 summer meeting, held in July in Farmington, Pennsylvania.

The LPBA’s overall mission is to encourage the knowledge and understanding of aviation law; to promote a spirit of fellowship within the legal profession for those who have the interest of both lawyer and pilot in the science or administration of aviation law; to promote cooperation with governmental and other organizations to enhance general aviation safety; and to offer to both governmental and civil agencies, the special knowledge and skill of its members to assist such agencies in the performance of their functions in the development of aviation law.
